Agnes Dorothy Ziepfel, age 102, a resident of Hanover Township, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Woodland Country Manor. She was born on October 29, 1919, the daughter of William and Josephine (Pater) Rigling. While growing up, she lived with her family on the Shadowy Hills farm in Oxford. Agnes worked at Wright Aeronautical during WW II. She married Edward A. Ziepfel during WW II on February 10, 1945 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Hamilton. They were together for 54 years prior to his passing in 1999. She and her husband ran a dairy farm operation in Hanover Township for many years. While caring for her family, she was involved in the many activities at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, was a member of Farm Bureau Council, belonged to several card clubs, and later in life, travel clubs with her husband. She especially loved playing cards with her family and friends. After retiring from dairy farming, she worked nearly 15 years at Ohio Casualty. Her greatest joy was raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a great cook and enjoyed making large family meals. A Funeral Mass was held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with immediate family only due to covid concerns. Entombment was held at St. St. Stephen's Cemetery. The Colligan Funeral Home served the family. Memorials may be sent to Badin High School Building Fund at 471 New London Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013 or Butler County Right to Life, P.O.
