Alberta Groh

Groh, Alberta T. Age 69, of Fairfield, passed away May 27, 2009. She was born in Hamilton on June 20, 1939, the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Staarmann) Conrad. She was united in marriage on April 4, 1959 to her high school sweetheart Pete Groh. Alberta always had a wonderful smile on her face and always brought laughter to everyone she was near. She welcomed everyone into her home and was a mom to all who knew her. She used her special talents of sewing, cooking and baking to bring a smile and gift to those she loved. Her Holiday baking will be especially missed by everyone. Alberta was the loving wife of Pete Groh for 50 wonderful years, mother to Pete (Jan), twins: Joe (Lisa) and the late Joan Seither, and Nancy (Kevin) Lees, special mother in law to Chris (Lauren) Seither, wonderful grandmother to Andy, Mary Kathryn, David and Eva Groh, Michael, and the late Marisa Lee Groh, Denise, Michelle and Amy Seither, Grace and Matthew Lees. Sister to: Celestine (Betty), Arnold and Stanley (the late Bernice) Conrad, Loraine (Warren) Snodgrass, Sister Mary Yvonne (Anna Mae) Conrad OSF, the late Evelyn (Bill) Miller. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 1, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Road, Fairfield.
