Barbara Gardner

Barbara Gardner, age 77, of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. She was born December 30, 1937 to the late Paul and Margaret Gardner. Barbara graduated from Notre Dame High School class of 1954 and worked for many years as a secretary in the Traning and Education Department at Mercy Hospital. She expressed her kind and generous nature through care-giving and worked as the Sacristan at St. Peters and Chains Church until she retired in 2014. She was devoted to her family and friends and was gifted with creative and artistic abilities. She adored her pets, a good joke and all things Irish. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Gardner Jr. and nephew, Gregory Gardner. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen (Gardner) Bruner; 11 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great nephew. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Animal Adoption Center, 2480 Ross-Millville Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. A private funeral service will be held at the convience of the family.
