Barbara L. “Smurf” Hibbard, age 72, a resident of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017. She was born on June 22, 1945 in Henderson, Ky., the daughter of Clara Mae and Anderson Hibbard. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Dave Hopkins, Charles (Denise) Marcum and Brian Marcum; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Lee (Carol) Hibbard; sister, Betty (Bill) Reynolds and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Trena Hopkins. Visitation will be Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 5:00 PM til time of service at 7:00 PM
