Bertha Stoker

Bertha Marie (Bauereiss) Stoker, age 95, of West Chester, Ohio, died Friday, July 3, 2015 at her home surrounded by her beloved family. Born on March 25, 1920, in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Sandman) Bauereiss. Bertha had five brothers and sisters who preceded her to Heaven, Dora, Ruth, Walter, Ralph and Ernst Baureiss. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Hamilton, Ohio. Bertha wa married to George Edward Stoker on December 15, 1945. She enjoyed family and her hobbies of quilting, sewing and painting. Bertha was preceded in death by her loving husband, George and her oldest son, Michael. She is survived by three loving sons, John, Gerald and James Stoker; daughters-in-law, Catherine, Anne, Carla and Paige; granddaughters, Lori, Donna, Ashley and Hannah; grandsons, David and Douglas; ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mass of Christian Burrial will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fairfield, Ohio with burial following in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio. Visitation will be Monday, July 6, 2015 at Colligan Funeral Home, Hamilton, Ohio from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 4370 Glendale Milford Road, Blue Ash, Ohio 45242.
