Cecilia Doppleb

Cecilia Doppleb, age 95, of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday morning , September 29, 2010. She was born in Hamilton, the daughter of Peter and Wladyslawa (Bochenek) Kunka, on August 26, 1915. She married Herman Doppleb, of Hamilton, in 1947. She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Bill) Lewis of Haymarket, Virginia and Helga (Ken) Sauter of Goldsboro, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Geoff Lewis, Paul Sauter and Margo Sauter; two brothers, Stanley (Gladys) Kunka and Henry Kunka both of Hamilton; sister in law, Elaine Kunka of New Holland, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two brothers, Ed and Joe Kunka and three sisters, Helen Kunka, Geneva Schmidt and Sophie Wagner. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 South 3rd Street, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 925 South 2nd Street, Hamilton. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 171 Washington Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
