Donald Kirk

Donald P. Kirk, age 84, of Hamilton, passed away Friday., October 24, 2014. He was born in Hamilton on September 4, 1930, the son of Paul and Ethel (Fant) Kirk. Don was united in marriage to Evelyn J. (Smith) Langdon. PFC Kirk, U S Army, served His country with honor during the Korean Conflict. He was employed with Champion Paper for 40 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 1069. Survivors include his son, Donald J. Kirk; daughter, Donna Shearer; brother Paul A. Kirk; sister, Lois Kirk; caretaker and friend, Jessica Whitaker and beloved dog, Pixie. He was preceded in death by his wife and twin brother, Ronald J. Kirk. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 S 3rd Street, Hamilton from 1:00 PM til time of service at 2:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Southwest Ohio.
