Doris Jean “Granny” Turner , age 72, of Hamilton, passed away Friday, August 27, 2010. Granny was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on April 10, 1938. She is survived by two daughters, Kandy Staples and Tammy Scrivner; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many close friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. Granny will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM til time of service at 11:00 AM at the Colligan Funeral Home. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
