Edward Petrak Jr

Edward J.Petrak Jr., age 59, of Hamilton, passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born in Hamilton on January 3, 1953, the son of Edward J. and June T. (Hutton) Petrak. Ed was a 1971 graduate of Garfield High School. Detective Petrak was a valued employee of the Hamilton Police Department for over 20 years. He was a member of the F O P and the Moose Lodge. Survivors include his children, Brian (Brandy) Petrak and Kellie (Jeff) Hunt; grandchildren, Brayden, Wyatt, Chandler, Tayler and Landin; three sisters, Denise Illner, Cheryl (Ron) Wooley and Darlene “Mick” Spitzer; one brother, Stephen (Martha) Petrak; nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Hank Spitzer Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Friday at Colligan Funeral Home. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
