Elizabeth Thieman

Elizabeth Marie “Liz” Thieman, age 76, of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born on January 10, 1935, in New Vienna, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Clara Belle (Cade) Chaney. On July 31, 1954, she was united in marriage to Thomas A. Thieman. Liz was a devoted wife and mother. Survivors include her husband of nearly 57 years, Tom Thieman; son, Matthew Thieman; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Harold “Bill” Chaney and Art Chaney. Prayer service will be 10:15 AM Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at the Colligan Funeral Home. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 5 – 7 PM at the funeral home.
