She was born in Brookville, Indiana on July 13, 1936, the daughter of Robert L. and Sarah Elizabeth (Reese) Smith. On August 6, 1960 she was united in marriage to Joseph Anthony Turco, Sr.
June was a talented seamstress, cook and baker. She had a passion for gardening alongside her husband, Joe. They raised large gardens each year as well as tended to their fruit orchard. June loved her flower gardens, watching game shows and westerns, working on puzzles, and always cheering on her Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. June’s greatest passion was always being surrounded or in the presence of her family.
June is survived by her children, Lisa (Mike) Tallarigo, Diana (Dennis) Howard, Tina Turco, and Joe (Patty Keith) Turco Jr. Her legacy continues through her treasured grandchildren: Emily Foster, David (Katie) Foster Jr., Andrew Tallarigo, Annie Turco, George Howard, Joey Turco, Matthew Turco, Molly Turco, and Jacob Turco; as well as her great-grandchildren, Owen and Ava Foster. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Carl Turco, her sister-in-law, Mary Barnes, and numerous nieces and nephews.
