Gilda Moore

Gilda Irene Moore, 85, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014. She was the daughter of Anthony and Mary (Russo) Roberts, both deceased. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Dan Moore; son, Kevin Moore of Dayton, Ohio; many devoted nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Gilda graduated from Notre Dame High School and retired from the Ohio Bureau of Unemployment of Hamilton. For 12 years she served as Tutor at Jefferson School in Hamilton and was a member of St. Peter’s Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dick Roberts and her sister, Anna Staarmann. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday, February 24, 2014 at St. Peter Church. Burial will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Colligan Funeral Home., 437 S 3rd Street, Hamilton.
