Jayne Huffman

Jayne Ann Huffman, 91, formerly of Hamilton, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 at The Laurels of Athens, Athens, Ohio. Born October 20, 1923 in Nelsonville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles W. “Match” Bayless and Nora Gladys Betts Bayless.

She was 1 1941 graduate of Athens High School and a 1944 graduate of The Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Cincinnati. She retired as a nurse for Dr. Edward Marr.

Jayne is survived by a sister, Ruth Ballinger of Athens; niece Jaynie (Steve) Pidcock of Athens; nephew, Charles (Lynn) Ballinger of Scottsdale, AZ; great-nephews, Josiah Steven Pidcock of Columbus and Jed (Erica) Pidcock of Athens; cousins, Martha Fick of Chillicothe and Miriam Gage of Las Vegas, NV.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Glenn Huffman.
