Joan Mattingly

Joan (Rotundo) Mattingly, age 87, of Fairfield. passed away August 16, 2019. She was born in Hamilton on December 24, 1931. Joan was a dedicated member of The Women’s American – Italian Society and had been employed with Pediatric Associates of Fairfield before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her children; Mary Jo (Don) Briggs, Tari (John) Sykes, Bob (Brigitte) Mattingly, Catherine (Michael) Murphy, Carol (Chuck) Heitzer, Tom (Cindy) Mattingly and Mike Mattingly; 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dominick and Mildred (Delligatto) Rotundo; her husband, Bob Mattingly and her brother and sister – in- law, Benny and Joy Rotundo. Mass of Christian Burial of Cremains will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 26, 2019 at Sacred Heart Church of Fairfield. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery. A gathering of friends and family will follow at Veterans Park, Michael J Colligan Lodge, 20 New London Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association at (act.alz.org/donate) or to St. Vincent de Paul (svdpcincinnati.org).
