Joretta Cox

Joretta M. Cox,73, of Hamilton, died Saturday, January 28, 2012. She was the daughter of Joseph and Vessie (Minor) Timmer. Joretta was a 1956 graduate of Notre Dame High School. A loving mother and devoted grandmother, she is survived by her son, J. Larry (Beth) Cox and daughter, Debbie (Keith Sloan) Reiff; grandchildren, Megan, Heather and Brandon Reiff and Luke, Jake and Ryan Cox; sister, Carol Flum; sister-in-law, Janet Cox with whom she had resided; former husband, John W. Cox; other family members and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Timmer and Vessie Wurzelbacher; stepfathers, Larry Kramer and John Wurzelbacher and brother, Tom Timmer. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-8 PM at Colligan Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Thursday at St. Peter in Chains Church, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Badin High School.
