Kenneth E. Marcum

Kenneth E. "Kenny" Marcum, age 88, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023. A Hamilton native, he was the son of Henry and Rachel (Garland) Marcum. After 40 plus years of service, Kenny retired from Champion International Paper Company. He enjoyed playing golf, cards and especially traveling with his wife. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Eagles and the Monkeys. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Patty (Janos); three daughters, Linda (Alan) Andrews, Debbie (Tom) Schmidt and Stephanie (Gary) Roberts; grandchildren, Aaron (Stacey) Andrews, Gary Ray (Rachel) Roberts, Jessica (Kevin) Brady, Rachel (Cody) Farris, Jessica " JJ" (Lee) Rogers and Elise Smith and many great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth Francis Marcum; granddaughter, Rachael Smith; four brothers and one sister. Visitation will be Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Colligan Funeral Home from noon until 1:15 PM. A 2:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Julie Billiart Church. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Parkinsons, Alzheimers Association , St. Julie Billiart Church or charity of the donor's choice.
