Mary Kathleen (Wolner) Johnson, born March 4, 1913 in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on February 1, 2010 at Dosher Nursing Center in Southport, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Frank and Mary (Kruso) Wolner and sister of the late Frank, John, Joseph and Andy Wolner. She attended Saint Mary Elementary School and Hamilton High School. Mary was employed at Estate Stove Company, Champion Paper and Fiber Company, Wilmurs Department Store and Foto Craft Camera Shop. She was married to Ralph E. Johnson on May 15,1937 at Saint Mary Parsonage in Hamilton, Ohio.They enjoyed 64 years of marriage and to this union were born two daughters; Patricia (A.David) Spilker of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Kathleen (Robert) Fatzinger of Southport, North Carolina. She is survived by her two daughters, grandchildren, Monica Klug, Ann Bellinger, Steven Spilker, Ryan Fatzinger, Adan Fatzinger and 11 great -grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Margaret Wendling of Louisville, Kentucky. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great -grandmother. She will be sorely missed by all. Visitation will be at Colligan Funeral Home, 437 South Third Street, Hamilton, Ohio from 2-5 pm on Sunday, February 7, 2010. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Saint Julie Billiart Church, 224 Dayton Street at 10:00 am on Monday. A short visitation will precede the service on Monday morning at the church beginning at 9am. Burial will be at Saint Stephen Cemetery following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint Julie Billiart Church, 224 Dayton Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 or Dosher Nursing Center, 924 North Howe Street, Soythport, North Carolina, 28461: attention Michele Lawrence or Vonnie Bishop in Mary’s memory. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Dosher Nursing Center for their loving care and devoution while Mary was a resident at their facility.
