Maxine Menninger

Maxine J. Menninger, age 80, of Hamilton, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born on May 1, 1933, the daughter of Denver and Hazel Settle. She had been employed by the Hamilton Police Dept. and the Butler County Sheriff Dept. for almost 43 years. Maxine was a member of the Shandon United Church of Christ. A loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and friend to many will be missed by everyone who ever knew her. Survived by her son, Gary (Pauletta) Ervin; three grandchildren, Troy, Tanya and Tammy; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Carole and Diane; brother, Ted; nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 2:30 PM to time of services at 5:30 PM at the Colligan funeral Home, 437 S 3rd Street, Hamilton. Celebrate her life at the FOP Lodge in Fairfield after the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
