Patricia M. Hume

Patricia M. (nee Timmer) Hume passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 75. She was born on September 21, 1948, in Hamilton Ohio to the late Robert W. Timmer and Flossie (nee Crawford) Davis. Pat was married to Joseph Hume on August 1, 1968. They were blessed with 4 children: Joseph, Tracy, Casey and Cody. Pat worked at Walmart where she moved up from stocker to department manager and an inventory control specialist, until her retirement in 2011. She touched so many lives and was loved and respected by her coworkers. Many of them called her a friend, some even considered her a second mother. During her free time Pat enjoyed playing bingo and the lottery. She was also an avid sports fan: cheering on the Bengals, Reds, THE Ohio State Buckeyes. She also enjoyed following and supporting the West Side Little League on their journey to the Little League World Series. Above all else, she lived for watching and encouraging her grandchildren in all their endeavors. This brought her the most joy in her life. Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph Hume in 2009, as well as her parents and all of her siblings. Pat has left an expansive family to carry on her legacy. It begins with her children: Joseph ( wife Tracy) Hume, Tracy (husband Steven) Robinson, Casey (wife Sarah) Hume, Cody (husband Michael) Angel; cherished grandchildren: Joseph Hume, Tia & Christine Gardner, Jayden & Logen Hume, Taylor, Teagan, Tatum, & Tanner Angel; bonus grandchildren: Jeremy Robinson & Elizabeth (husband Justin) Leist; beloved great grandchildren: Alaina Hall, Alyiah Mohammed; bonus great grandchildren: Cameron Walker, Dalton & Mia Robinson, Jayce & Gauge Leist. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:30 pm at Colligan Funeral Home, 437 South 3rd Street, Hamilton, OH 45011. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
