Robert E Kilgour

Robert E. Kilgour passed away on October 6, 2026, in Fairfield, Ohio. He was born on December 25, 1927, in Hamilton, Ohio. His long life will be remembered with love, gratitude, and deep affection by the many family members and friends who were blessed to know him.

Robert married the love of his life Audrey Lindsay on August 12, 1950, and they were blessed with six children: Tom, Bobby, Kenny, Randy, Lisa and Doug. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Audrey Kilgour. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Madgalene Kilgour; his sister, Patricia Fishwick; his son-in-law, Randy Swinney; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Lindsay and Herbert Lindsay.

He is survived by his children: Thomas (Lena) Kilgour, Robert Kilgour, Kenneth Kilgour, Randall Kilgour, Lisa Swinney and Douglas (Brenda Strange) Kilgour; grandchildren: Thomas “Tommy” Kilgour, Britney (Ryan) Perdue, Jonathan (Sara) Richardson, Heather (Kurt) Kaiser, Robert Jr. Kilgour, Christy (Bryan) Poe, Lindsay (Josh) Turner, Ian (Grace Collins) Kilgour, Chase Kilgour, Bryan (Danielle) Kilgour, Charlee Kilgour, Taylor (Trey) Taylor, Brooklynn (Hunter) Sterwert, Greg Swinney, and Kyle (Rebecca) Kilgour. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren: Scarlette, Ariella, Talon, Ryder, Knox, Julliett, McKayla, Makenna, McKinley, Lennox, Easton, Laklen, Olissa, Kyler, Xavier, Elijah Bryson, Maddie, Ellie, Oaklynn, Wrenley, Camden, Kaiden, and Ashton; great great grandchildren: Enzo, and Dexter. In addition, he is survived by his brother-in-law, Myrl Lindsay, and his sisters-in-law, Patty Ann Madden, Marilyn Lindsay, and Donna Jean Aurthor.

Robert’s family will gather with relatives and friends for visitation on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Michael J. Colligan Lodge, 20 New London Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013, where all are invited to remember and celebrate his life. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.

Robert E. Kilgour leaves behind a remarkable family and a legacy carried forward through generations. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him and remain a blessing in the lives of all who remember him.
