Robert Morgan

Robert Lee, age 61, of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Mercy Hospital. He was born May 5, 1949, in Hamilton, the son of Everett D. and Florella (Swihart) Morgan. He was a 1967 graduate of Talawanda High School. SP4 Morgan, US Army, served His country with honor during the Vietnam War and had been awarded the Bronze Star with 2 overseas bars, the Purple Heart and various other medals. On September 18, 1970, he was united in marriage to Ethel Bauer. Bobby was a member of the classic car club, the Rumblers. He enjoyed trips to Tennessee as he loved the mountains. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Ethel Morgan; son, Michael; mother, Florella Morgan; sister, Barbara Morgan Barker; numerous family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett D. Morgan and sister, Darlene Grosse. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 S. 3rd Street. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 11:00 AM til time of 1:00 PM services. Burial wilth military services in Rose Hill Burial Park.
