Ronald Lee Jordan, born on October 23, 1948, in La Follette, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, at the Hospice of Hamilton. A devoted family man, a committed worker, and a patriot, Ronald lived a full and meaningful life.

Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Army and National Guard, from which he was honorably discharged. Following his military service, he worked at Diebols in Hamilton until they closed.  Then Ronald pursued a career as a semi-truck driver, dedicating many years to the profession with diligence and integrity.

He was a man who cherished the simple pleasures in life. Ronald had a passion for camping and fishing, activities that brought him closer to nature and allowed him to share treasured moments with his grandchildren. He also possessed a talent for working on cars, a hobby that reflected his practical skills and hands-on approach to life. Ronald was a true movie aficionado who enjoyed exploring the vast array of films available on Netflix, finding joy in storytelling and entertainment.

Ronald's life was enriched by the love and companionship of his family. He is survived by his daughter Becky Dawson and her husband Brian; grandchildren Ashley Schwarm and her husband Zach, Justin Southerland, Derek Jordan and his wife Taylor, Christian Dawson and his wife Miah, Corey Dawson, Brooklin Hensley and her husband Bobby, Tavin Lee, and Jason Wyatt; as well as great-grandchildren Brently and Zach Schwarm, Penelope, Charlie, and Emelia “Emmi” Jordan, Gage Ullmer-Dawson, Luna Dawson, and Aubree and Madison Hensley. Ronald also leaves behind his siblings Don Jordan and his wife Karen, Jeff Jordan and his wife Linda, Jack, Jordan and his wife Jackie, and sister-in-law Phyllis Jordan, alongside numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

He was preceded in death by his parents: John Louie Jordan and Leona (Wyrick) Jordan, daughters: Angie (Harry) Hatten (née Jordan), Rhonda Jordan, grandson Bradley Hatten and siblings: Johnny Jordan, and infant siblings James Allen and Janice Sue Jordan. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved Ronald.

Visitation will be held on June 12, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., both at the Michael J. Colligan Lodge, located at 20 New London Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Family, friends, and all whose lives Ronald touched are invited to attend and celebrate his life. The family asks for memorials to go to the funeral home to help with funeral costs.

Ronald Lee Jordan's legacy is one of dedication—to his family, his country, and the passions that filled his days with joy. His memory will endure in the stories shared, the lessons taught, and the love he so freely gave. May he rest in peace.
