Vernon Gill

GILL,
Vernon Edward Sr., AGE 65 of Hamilton. Passed away on June 8, 2012.
Vernon was born in Hamilton on July 2, 1946 to the late Steve and Elizabeth (nee Robertson) Gill. He joined the Marines and served honorably from 1964 to 1968. In his free time he enjoyed bowling and visiting with friends and family. He always enjoyed a cup of coffee and talks with his friends. When he was able to, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and extended family at the VFW and American Legion Post 138.

Survivors include his best friend and companion Addie Bishop; children: John (Theresa), Robert, & Vernon Jr. Gill, Robert and Tina Bishop, Lisa (Randy) Joseph, Erin (Bryan) Simms; 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; Brothers: Steve (Sue), John (Virginia) Bobby (Barb), Ronny (Brenda) and Ricky Gill; Sisters: Linda Lou (Charles) Rosenbaum, Sandra Rogers, Kim (Steve) Murphy, Kathy (Donny) Cambell; Uncles: Charles, LeRoy (Geneiva) Reams and Walter Ray Reams; Aunts: Alien (Ed) McQueen and Irene Harlow; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 11AM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 South 3rd St., Hamilton. Condolences at www.colliganfuneralhome.com
