Virginia Elliott

Virginia Opal “Ginny” Elliott, age 88, of Hamilton passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Sudith, Ky. on December 5, 1924. Virginia retired from the Journal News in 1990. She was a longtime member of the New Miami Wesleyan Church. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by three daughters, Janet (Melvin) Jones, Kathy (Robert) Santel and Lora (Sean) Logan; three sons, Marvin (Teresa) Elliott, Neal (Nancy) Elliott and Larry Elliott; grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Earl Elliott. Visitation will be Thursday, September 26th at the Coligan Funeral Home, 437 S 3rd Street, Hamilton from 11:00 AM til time of noon services with Pastor Roger Shaw officiating.
